Call for Treasurer
Due to unforeseen circumstances our Treasurer has decided to step down.
We are looking to one of our members to fill this important chapter leadership role.
As Treasurer you will play an important role in managing all aspects of the chapter finances. Key duties include:
- Receiving and disbursing funds of the Chapter as required in the conduct of its affairs and the carrying on of its activities or as directed by the Chapter Board;
- Preparing and presenting financial reports at each board meeting;
- Preparing chapter budgets
- Submitting annual financial statements for presentation to the membership at the AGM
Taking on this important role, you will receive support from other board members for on-boarding and completion of tasks, as well as orientation training by our existing Treasurer.
Becoming involved with your local chapter
Becoming involved with your local chapter will allow you to make valuable connections with peers, share knowledge, access affordable CPE programs and information exchange, and discover new opportunities in your profession.
Opportunities can range from one-time tasks or chapter board involvement, to chapter leadership roles, including serving as chapter president.
Earn up to 20 CPE's for each hour of active participation on the Board.
