Message from the President
Dear ISACA Victoria Chapter Members and Professional Colleagues,
On behalf of the 2011/2012 Board members, I welcome you all back from your summer vacation. I trust it was great and very refreshing for you.
“Connecting for Growth” is the theme we have come up with to guide the operation of our chapter and define our commitment as the board to you all. Our aim is to provide a platform for members and professional colleagues to connect with other members, decision makers in the industry and community, trainings, courses, seminars , and development programmes to help you realize your professional and career growth objectives. Let us connect and grow together!
We are open to your ideas on how we can make this happen for you – our members. Hence we invite you to join the conversation on the blog page of our chapter website and let us know how best you want to connect for growth. Drop ideas on luncheon topics, seminar courses or even articles you want to in our quarterly newsletter. We would be glad to hear from you.
Try and connect with members at our monthly luncheon programmes. Check out their name tags and engage with as many as you can. We have lined our engaging topics for our monthly professional developments as well as topical course seminars.
Please check out our goals for the 2011/2012 chapter year.
Strategic Goals
The ISACA Victoria Strategic Plan for 2011 and 2012 fiscal year is based on six goals:
- Increase value to membership and community;
- Establish organizational identity and promote visibility;
- Grow ISACA Victoria’s membership base and increase yearly retention;
- Increase organizational sustainability through improvements to our finances, operations, and documented processes;
- Attract IT, security, compliance, and audit decision makers to our organization and events; and
- Maintain high quality monthly professional development events and at least two seminars.
Wishing you all the very best in your career.
Sincerely,
Zachy Olorunojowon,
President ISACA Victoria Chapter
